Partner Onboarding Overview
This page explains the high-level onboarding model for partners integrating the Netevia Tap to Pay SDK into their own mobile applications.
Netevia provides SDK access, payment-side configuration, merchant setup support, UAT support, and production enablement.
The partner owns their own application, branding, app store listing or distribution path, development process, testing, and production release.
Netevia remains the PSP.
Supported Platforms
Netevia Tap to Pay SDK supports partner-owned mobile applications on:
- iOS — Tap to Pay on iPhone
- Android — Tap to Pay / SoftPOS
Platform-specific requirements are different:
- iOS requires Apple Tap to Pay entitlement and Apple app-level review.
- Android has its own device, OS, SDK, and production readiness requirements.
How This Model Works
The partner integrates the Netevia SDK into their own mobile app.
Netevia provides:
- SDK access
- Payment-side setup
- Merchant configuration support
- UAT and production enablement
- First-line integration support
The partner is responsible for:
- App implementation
- App user experience
- Platform-specific requirements
- App store or distribution process
- Testing
- Production release coordination
Important Note
Partners are not becoming PSPs.
Partners do not need to complete:
- PSP-level onboarding
- Payment network certification
- Encryption/decryption handling
- Direct management of sensitive payment data
Netevia remains responsible for the PSP and payment-side relationship.
