Checklist to confirm partner readiness before starting Tap to Pay on iPhone integration.

Use this checklist before starting Tap to Pay on iPhone integration.

The goal is to confirm that the partner is ready from the app, Apple, product, and launch perspective.

App ownership

  • Partner owns the iOS app.
  • Partner owns the Apple Developer account.
  • Partner has confirmed the app name.
  • Partner has confirmed the bundle ID.
  • Partner has confirmed whether this is a new app or an existing app update.

Netevia role

  • Partner understands that Netevia remains the PSP.
  • Partner does not need ABR onboarding.
  • Partner does not need PartnerHub onboarding.
  • Partner does not need PSP onboarding.

Apple approval

  • Partner understands that Tap to Pay approval is app-by-app.
  • Partner understands that a new app needs first-time Tap to Pay approval.
  • Partner is ready to request Tap to Pay Development Entitlement.
  • Partner understands that Publishing Entitlement is required before TestFlight or App Store release.
  • Partner has an owner for Apple communication and submission.

Distribution path

Confirm which distribution path applies:

  • Public App Store
  • Unlisted App
  • Custom App
  • Enterprise / ADEP

Required app experience

  • App has or will have Tap to Pay awareness moment.
  • App has or will have merchant education.
  • App has or will have Terms & Conditions flow.
  • App has or will have enrollment from Settings or similar.
  • App has or will have enrollment from checkout.
  • Tap to Pay on iPhone button will be visible and not disabled before enrollment.
  • App will show clear payment result: approved, declined, timed out.
  • App will offer digital receipt option.

Review materials

  • Partner can provide test credentials.
  • Partner can provide test merchant account.
  • Partner can record required Apple videos.
  • Partner can provide App Store Connect submission notes.
  • Partner can provide high-fidelity screenshots or wireframes if needed.

Launch plan

  • Partner has target launch date.
  • Partner has pilot plan.
  • Partner has support owner.
  • Partner has developer owner.
  • Partner has product/business owner.
